What advice would you give to someone wanting to recognize they were in hypnosis/hypnotized?

My history: Recognising the hypnotic state: Listend to double induction to confuse the conscious mind in october believed i was in trance. then In March did a 'Stage hypnosis wkd course" and was hypnotized sucessfully on the sunday. Since then listening to mp3 hypnosis recordings Haven't had much luck going under. Do I need more live sessions. 4 my sub/C. to recognize state?
