Can you get a tattoo in the marine dep?

Worst thing in the world to do. We had a few guys that had USMC tattoos and they didn't even make it through boot camp. You aren't even called Marine until the day you graduate and therefore until then you haven't earned the title or the ink. I would say the same for any military branch. How can you call yourself a Marine and get it permanently on your body and you don't even know if you'll make it. I wish you luck, but Drill Instructors will wear you out if they see that. Has less to do about paperwork and more your recruiter looking out for you.
