Peace039 – Could we use our new found freedom of religion in the West to rethink our religion?

In our own countries, there is the pressure to conform to the religion of the state. For example, if one was born in the Philippines, Italy, Argentina, Mexico, Poland, Portugal or Spain, he is supposed to be a Roman Catholic; in India or Nepal, a Hindu; in Sri Lanka, a Buddhist or a Hindu; in Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Turkey, Algeria, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia or Egypt, a Muslim; in Great Britain, an Anglican; in Germany, Norway, Denmark or Sweden, a Lutheran; in Thailand, Cambodia or Vietnam, a Buddhist; in China, an atheist or a believer in Confucius; in Greece, a Greek Orthodox; in Armenia, an Armenian Orthodox; in Russia, a Russian Orthodox; in Israel, a Jew; in Japan, a Shintoist or a Buddhist; etc. Is belong to the predominant religion of the state a cultural identity?
