Did i already lose? is there anyway that i can actually win this? (big friend problem, but its long!!!!!!!!)?

so i have only two best friends. one is a girl (sadie) and the other is a boy (anthony) so i have been talking to anthony a lot... and im really starting to like him. sadie has been on and off with him for who knows how long. and she still likes him. he has a girlfriend at the moment, but they arent really connecting, and i dont think it will last long. anthony told my other friend (alli) that he likes three girls. me, sadie, and the girl he is dating. he just cant decide who. sadie acts like they are dating. she gets so mad when he ignores her, but its not even his fault. she sent me a text after school saying "i have a horrible day" so i asked why and she said "because anthony barely talked to me today. it was like he is ignoring me." im on the phone with her now, and she said he was going to break up with his girlfriend and then he was going to go out with her, but for some reason i highly doubt that. i have no way of talking to him, he got his phone taken away and his laptop, and i hate calling people. im just so confused. and yesterday, sadie told me that since she like anthony, i shouldnt like him. she said that i need to like someone else. but i cant just start like someone else, im not like that. so i am so lost. i have a feeling i should just forget about this all, or if i should confront my friend (which i know wont go well) or just let sadie have him. i need to know.
