Whats everyone reaction to Matt Cel choosing #7 since he is old team #16 was retired by his new team?

As a Chiefs fan I don't like it. I'm pretty superstitious and the #7 Chiefs jersey has bad voodoo attached to it. 10 Chiefs players have worn that jersey (including 6 QBs), and they have all had disastrous careers with the red and gold #7.
