What kind of blankets/quilts you use during the very cold winter?

Down comforter is the way to go. I live in Boston Machusetts and have always used a down comforter. I can't remember NOT having one. Its always cozy and warm. For extra warmth, you can use flannel sheets they are very soft and compliment the coziness of the down comforter perfectly.
