What are the chances of vinyl records replacing CDs and MP3s? Is audio technology going backwards?

Have old 78 speed record, 33 speeds for the lps, 45 for the singles, still keep them, but also have tapes, music and video, and dvds and cds, love them all, music is music now matter how is comes, love it! :)
